THE PROJECT: 

Our partnership with Alves Development began over four years ago, with full service social media management. The partnership expanded from there because of the strong foundation of support and trust the Media Shop Collective provided for their business. Now, we are honoured to be considered an extension of their business. Essentially, we are their marketing department, serving all their branding and marketing needs as they arise.

THE PROCESS

SOCIAL MEDIA

As with all of our projects, we began this partnership with a strategy. As a home builder in two distinct communities, we identified the need for Alves Development to have a separate social media account for each community. This ensured that the language used and the content shared was consistent and appropriate for each specific target audience. 

Each month we strategize with the collective of social media marketers, as well as with Alves themselves, to create compelling, relevant, and engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Throughout the month we perform community engagement, managing the comments and DMs received. And at the end of the month, we provide a social media report on the performance of each platform. The monthly report helps us measure progress towards our goals, find areas for improvement, and ensure we are connecting with the target audience.

BRANDING

As a builder of beautiful, custom homes, Alves has an extraordinary visual story to tell. We are thrilled to be able to provide custom photography and videography for use on Alves’ website and social media accounts. It is through this service that we are able to effectively showcase the amazing work that Alves does, entice their audience to learn more about the custom home building process, and increase leads for Alves. 

We are also proud to help enhance the customer experience with presentation folders, information packets, and business cards designed by the MSC graphic designers.

WEB DESIGN & DIGITAL MARKETING

When the pandemic hit, showhomes closed. This posed a huge challenge for Alves. If they aren’t able to show their homes, how are they to generate new leads? We helped them overcome this challenge in multiple ways. First, as part of our website maintenance package, we were able to quickly update their website to demonstrate this change with no interruption to their business. Second, we developed an influencer campaign, bringing various local influencers into the home to promote through their social channels, rather than having people come for walk-throughs. And finally, through our digital marketing efforts, we are able to pre-promote and build awareness of the homes before they hit the market, driving traffic and enquiries. 

As close partners with Alves, we are able to proactively determine potential challenges and offer solutions before the client even realizes there was a problem in the first place. The team at Alves Development is able to rest easy, knowing that they can trust us to manage their marketing.
