THE PROCESS
BRANDING
Media Shop Collective executed a logo redesign for CMC to reflect the fresh new direction they were taking. Our designers began the process by performing industry research to gain an understanding of how it has evolved and where it is heading. The brand refresh, rooted in strategy, helped to enhance the customer experience as the branding was executed at every touch point for a consistent brand experience from start to finish.
WEB DESIGN
The MSC designers built a custom website on Squarespace for CMC. Using an audience-first approach, the designers began by gaining a thorough understanding of who the audience is and what their needs are. This led us to determine that simplification was required as a key aspect of our strategy.
We simplified the language, removing jargon and excessive medical dialect, to ensure it is user friendly. We simplified the navigation, allowing users to easily identify their needs and find the appropriate information. And finally, we created simple ways for the audience to engage with the brand, such as adding an online store, advising on a membership program, and creating brochures, postcards, and gift cards.
SOCIAL MEDIA
CMC has an amazing team capable of managing their social media channels, but they needed guidance on what to post and how to connect with their target audience. The MSC team created a Social Media Brand Kit with easy-to-edit templates that they can use on social media. We also established three month’s worth of content to demonstrate what type of content CMC should be posting on their channels and how their social feeds should look to attract their core customers. The digital marketers at MSC helped to implement the social media strategy and content and get it to a place where the team at CMC could take over.
DIGITAL MARKETING
Through both PPC and social media advertising, the MSC digital marketers were able to boost overall brand awareness for CMC by targeting low cost, high performing niche keywords, as well as detailed audience demographics, lookalike audiences, and shared audiences.
THE RESULTS
