Every detail of its brand identity—from the effortlessly handwritten logo to the immersive storytelling—was designed to capture the essence of a modern honky-tonk while resonating with the city’s nightlife scene. A seamless blend of visual branding, digital presence, and strategic marketing created an experience that extended beyond the venue itself. The result? THE PROJECT: 

Just four short months before a new country bar was scheduled to open, Media Shop Collective was approached with a very cool opportunity to bring a Honky Tonk bar to Edmonton, Alberta. From the initial concept to a thriving establishment, this partnership allowed us to not only create an immediately iconic brand but, with brand extensions and strategic marketing, transform a historic building into an unforgettable brand experience.

THE PROCESS

BRANDING

We crafted a distinctive brand identity that captured the essence of Daisy’s Saloon. We started with the creation of the Daisy’s primary logo and secondary logos, along with their brand colours and fonts. Using these elements, we were able to create many different Daisy’s elements, including beer tap handles, signage for around the bar, outdoor entryway signage, murals, and many other design elements, creating a seamless visual identity.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Our strategic social media campaigns effectively reach Daisy’s target audience, building brand awareness and driving excitement and anticipation for the grand opening. We produced engaging content, including captivating photography and videography, to showcase the vibrant atmosphere and unique experiences offered by Daisy’s.

In just one month, we were able to grow Daisy's Instagram following by 325%. The page also got 420K views and 36K interactions.

 

 WEBSITE DESIGN

Using Daisy's branding, we were able to create a website focused on overall user experience and the customer journey. This included clearly identified CTAs to help navigate the website, branded tone to set the overall Daisy’s experience and tell their brand story, and amplify the overall user experience. We also conduct regular website updates to stay up to date on upcoming events, and ensure the website is running smoothly.

THE RESULTS

Daisy’s Saloon has quickly become an established, recognizable brand in Edmonton’s busy nightlife scene. Through our marketing efforts, we were able to drive significant foot traffic to the saloon, leading to increased revenue and customer satisfaction. We have also established a loyal following on social media, to foster a sense of community and excitement around the new venue. 

Throughout our collaborative partnership, Media Shop Collective has played a crucial role in helping Daisy’s have a successful launch and grand opening, establishing itself as a thriving destination.
